Urgent care centers can now tap into a online X-ray database for easy, point-of-care X-ray comparison and reference to images of pathology frequently encountered in the urgent care setting. The Institute of Urgent Care Medicine, a leader in urgent care education, has partnered with national teleradiology company Teleradiology Specialists to produce the first and only online database of urgent care X-ray images.

The searchable reference tool contains more than 300 X-rays, curated to cover the core content of images in the urgent care practice setting. Each image contains a description that highlights the pathology present. The online films assist urgent care physicians, PAs and NPs to better understand the clinical decision-making implications.

The curriculum was designed and peer reviewed by Dr. Lee A. Resnick, experienced urgent care educator and Founder of the Institute of Urgent Care Medicine. Images were peer reviewed and selectively labeled by Dr. David Cohen, Founder and CMO of Teleradiology Specialists.
