As clinics see more patients present with COVID symptoms, the average seven-day lab count per clinic continues to rise, from around four percent in July to five percent in late August. And while there is a slight increase in testing, the number of patients testing positive has nearly tripled in that same time, with positivity rates rising from three percent to nine percent.

Over the last month, our maps are showing signs of a surge in COVID infections across the lower half of the country and along both U.S. coastlines. COVID positivity is highest in Texas at 19.3% with California and Nevada closing the gap at over 16%.

This uneven distribution continues to create localized demand surges, emphasizing the need for:
