With a sweet southern “hello!” and a warm embrace, Owl Now Urgent Care’s Lakeland Clinic Administrator, Diane Brannen treated us like we were lifelong friends. She and her staff mimic the Tampa suburbs of Winter Haven and Lakeland – easy-going, gracious, and always willing to help a family member. Owl Now Urgent Care, Polk County’s only after hours urgent care open seven days a week, truly makes you feel like you’re part of their family. That means you’re going to receive the best care when you or your loved one isn’t feeling so swell.

Owl Now provides urgent care, occupational medicine, and workers’ compensation services at their two walk-in clinics and serves an average of 160 patients every day. The clinics offer on-site labs, splinting, and x-ray services. During our visit, we saw patients greeted with smiles, ushered quickly back to an exam room, and asked a series of thoughtful medical questions. Humor and self-deprecation were often used to make the patient feel more at ease. After a diagnosis, the patients were given clear instructions on how to return to their previously healthy lives.

“We’re like one big family. And, we treat and feel our patients are part of that family,” said Owl Now Urgent Care’s Winter Haven Clinic Administrator, Kelly Stanwood.

DocuTAP is proud to partner with Owl Now Urgent Care, providing a specialty-specific Electronic Medical Record. On the second day of using DocuTAP, the Owl Now staff had a record door-to-door patient time of 20 minutes.
