During our March webinar series, Senior Solutions Consultant Kim Garnette explained what generated forms are, how to access them and how to electronically send the forms.
The generated forms functionality is available for all PV EMR clients as part of the patient medical record. Employer Portal users may be familiar with this functionality, as it is most popularly used with workers compensation cases. This feature can also be utilized to refer patients to specialists who require specific forms be filled out by the physician before setting an appointment.
Users can find the generated forms feature in Velocidoc® EMR under the medical record tab. Once a patient has been seen and is ready to be discharged, providers can go into the medical records tab and click on editing and scanning, where they will find a button that says generated forms. Users are able to pick and choose which form they want, keeping in mind that state-specific forms are already loaded in the center’s profile, and fill in the fields that are available for the chosen form.
Providers can choose how to send the form right from the preview tab, or when they decide to discharge the patient. If there is a form that users want to see added to the list, they can contact email@example.com with requests.
