Sioux Falls, S.D. (October 22, 2013) ” DocuTAP, a Sioux Falls, South Dakota-based provider of integrated EMR (electronic medical records) and practice management software systems for urgent care clinics, announces the move of its offices to downtown Sioux Falls in the summer of 2014. DocuTAP will relocate to the former CNA Western Surety Building, located at 101 S. Phillips Avenue. The fast growing company will occupy floors three through five and share the building with another corporate tenant.
DocuTAP has experienced record growth in the past year, expanding from 60 to 150 employees. In May, DocuTAP received $11.9 million in Series B funding led by global venture capital firm Bessemer Venture Partners. With the move to downtown, DocuTAP will double the square footage of its current offices. DocuTAP is presently located at 4701 W. Research Drive, along with several offices in the South Dakota Technology Business Center, where the company was founded and grown as a start-up software enterprise.

DocuTAP has been working with the City of Sioux Falls to negotiate parking arrangements for employees who will be commuting downtown. Building owners Hegg Companies and Lloyd Companies are spending $8 million to remodel building finishes for the new tenants. A café restaurant is planned to occupy the ground floor, and shared building resources for employees to enjoy will include conference rooms and a fitness gym.
