DocuTAP, one of the nation’s fastest growing healthcare technology companies and provider of electronic medical records (EMR) and practice management (PM) software for urgent care clinics, is pleased to announce the appointments of Ronald Curtis as SVP of Product and Kerri Tietgen as EVP of People and Culture.

Curtis and Tietgen have joined the rapidly growing company and robust executive team within the last quarter and will play critical roles as DocuTAP continues to help clinics effectively navigate the expanding on-demand healthcare space.

“DocuTAP is in a unique position to help shape the future of healthcare, and with that, we’re constantly looking for top talent that will have an immediate impact on both our employees and our customers,” said Eric McDonald, CEO, DocuTAP. “Ron and Kerri bring incredible experience and skills to the team that will and I’m excited to see the impact they make on our organization.”

Curtis has more than 20 years of experience building and leading product organizations and joins DocuTAP’s executive team as SVP of Product to drive market opportunities and product initiatives. Prior to DocuTAP, Curtis served as VP Product Management at Cardlytics where he was responsible for identifying and assessing market opportunities and helped create the company’s Product organization.

“DocuTAP is in the sweet spot, with powerful ideas and the resources to accomplish its vision,” said Curtis. “For me, this is an opportunity to make a real impact by putting the people, processes, and tools in the right places, so we can execute on that vision with solutions that work for the fast- growing on-demand healthcare market.”

An experienced consultant and team developer, Tietgen has worked with organizations of all sizes throughout her career. As EVP of People and Culture, Kerri also sits on the executive team and is focused on leadership development. Before joining DocuTAP, she ran her own consulting firm for over 10 years where she focused on organizational development, executive coaching, and the development of people and teams.

“Even before joining DocuTAP, I was fascinated by what they have accomplished in the urgent care space and was excited by the growth trajectory,” said Tietgen. “We have incredible people doing incredible work here, and our leadership team is top-notch. Having this role on the executive team shows DocuTAP’s commitment to its employees. And happy employees do the best work.”

Like the on-demand healthcare space, DocuTAP continues to evolve. Adding top-tier talent to its leadership team will shape the trajectory of the company’s growth—and its success.
